Affiliate disclosure

Tuscan Breaks is reader-supported. To keep the guides free, we participate in affiliate programmes run by travel companies. This page explains, in plain terms, what that means.

What an affiliate link is

Some of the links on this site — for example to accommodation on Booking.com, to tours and wine experiences on GetYourGuide or Viator, or to other travel services — are affiliate links. If you click one and then make a booking, we may receive a small commission. The price you pay is exactly the same; the commission comes out of the company's margin, not your pocket.

How it affects our recommendations

It doesn't. We recommend places, wineries and trips on their merits. We are not paid to feature any specific property or operator, and a commission never buys a better write-up. Where we mention a business, it is because we think it is genuinely worth your time.

Independence

Tuscan Breaks is an independent publisher. We are not the booking provider for any property, winery or tour mentioned on the site, and we are not acting as your travel agent. Bookings and payments are handled entirely by the third-party provider you choose, under their own terms.
