General
comments concerning Casa Portagioia
Casa Portagioia
lies at the eastern end of the Valle di Chio with the ancient
town of Castiglion Fiorentino (population about 10,000) located
at the mouth of the valley about 5Km west. The nearest
shop is 1.5Km away in nearby Santa Christina, a 15 minute walk away.
Whilst there is a fairly active
local nightlife, for example clubs and bars abound at night
in Castiglion Fiorentino and Cortona where young people flock after 23:00, this area
of Tuscany is not really ideal for 'disco-divas' or 'night
time people'. Ours is a Tuscany of relaxation, good
food and that peaceful legerdemain that draws you
toward remembering special moments of your life.
Tuscany at it's finest, actually - or,
Casa Portagioia! |
